As you may have read in the email sent out last week, Kirmac has a new social committee. The New Year is a great time to make a fresh start, and we are excited to do just that with the Social Committee!
Our main goal is to plan activities that will bring staff together to have fun, and get to know each other. The Social Committee is made up strictly of volunteers, so all work is done on the members’ own time. With that in mind, we strongly encourage all Kirmac staff to participate in any way they see fit.
We thank all staff members who are paying into the social fund! The Social Committee will be doing its very best to meet employee expectations, and to make sure you are satisfied with how your contributions are being used. We are always open to input from staff, so please feel free to pass along any ideas you may have. To make this easier, we have created the new Kirmac Social Committee blog. Here you will find posts about upcoming events, opportunities to comment, and polls asking what you’d like to see as the next event. We are hoping to have our first event in March 2009, so get those creative juices flowing!
